Letten RYGA touren durch Deutschland mit "Catch Her Groove" Album

On October 20th the debut album “Catch Her Groove” of the band “Ryga” has been released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This was made possible owing to the agreement of the company “Mikrofona ieraksti” with its partners from “Optical Records” and “H’art & Kontor New Media”. The album is available in these countries digitally and physically.

Today, more than 20 radio stations of Germany have included one of the three album singles on their song lists, with “Say You Love Me Now” having gained most popularity, whereas the video of the song “Bunny Munro Waltz” was broadcasted on famous French-German TV channel “Arte”.

In order to promote the album, the band went on its first European tour and has played at concerts in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and have now reached Germany to give more concerts. After Germany, the band is heading to the Netherlands, but the final concert of the album tour is planned on the Lāčplēsis Day right here in Riga, at the 1st Rock Cafe.

Ryga are have been working hard for a year and a half now to draw some attention and continue to do so by releasing "Catch Her Groove" and giving entertaining concerts in Germany.

The leader of the band Mārcis Judzis shares his impressions: “Naturally, if the album is available in the shops of Germany, then we should head out there to give concerts. It was a great challenge, because in a way it meant going into the unknown — what will happen, how it will happen, whether they will like it or not, will we be able “to bring the house down”! Now, I can confirm that, yes, we have done it! People are dancing, jumping and singing along! It is an immensely good feeling to see that your music is being appreciated. Today, we already have new concert offers. We have played at three concerts already, and there are five more to give, but the nervousness is now behind us, and during the concerts we have mastered new dance moves, which the audience happily do along with us. Trips from city to city are tiring, but we decided to travel in a camper van, which proved to be the best option. On 9 November we will be back on the stage of the Daile Theatre with the performance “The Death of Bunny Munro”, but on 11 November, we will give a crazy end-of-tour concert of the band RYGA at the 1st Latvian Rock Cafe.”
